What is global warming?

Global warming is a negative escalation in the earth´s temperature.

The world´s temperature increases because of greenhouse gases (gases like carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor and nitrous oxide.) caused:

  -naturally

-by human activity (including transportation and eating habits)

Ultimately, the more humans, the more human activity, and thus, the more greenhouse gases emitted in the atmosphere.

A certain amount of greenhouse gases are needed to sustain a healthy environment.

  However...

An unhealthy increase in greenhouse gases causes an increase in the world´s temperature which causes:

  -sea levels to elevate

-an increase of warm waters which means an increase in hurricanes

-an altercation in natural habitats which means the death of plants, animals, and people ( and possible global disputes)

-an altercation in the longevity of life of certain plants and animals which means more diseases (like malaria, poison ivy)

-an increase in specific health aliments (like heat stroke, heart attack)

  -economic effects

To lessen the effects of climate change, it is imperative to make lifestyle changes that:

  -conserve energy

  -lessen waste

  -decrease water consumption

  -save trees
